While next weekend's Academy Awards may have most of us anticipating the presenters and winners, I'm excited to see who'll be announcing the Oscars and hoping it'll be a woman.
In the world of voiceovers, announcing a major awards show is a high-prestige gig that says you've made it. Unfortunately, very few women reach that level. Likewise, it's rare to hear a female announcer on a network talk show or TV game show.
